Maybe have the user confirm that new input is correct before restart and connecting to the new WiFi.

I don't understand what this would entail, as you can already show the password in cleartext and it will only restart if the new WiFi credentials are correct. Can you elaborate?

Was thinking a way to change the WiFi settings, SSID and PW. Maybe thats already possible and I just don't know how to do that. Pressing 1 + reset does not seem to work for me.

You have to hold button 1 after you pressed reset until the LEDs flash blue and yellow
